BEDFORD BOROUGH LOCAL OFFER & 229

Bedford Borough Council and BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group are working together to fund a range of activities for children and young people with Autism and / or Learning Disabilities to engage in throughout March 2021.

All of these activities are for children and young people with Autism and / or Learning Disabilties or their Parent Carers and are FREE to all for at least the next month!

Project 229 is running a programme of activities and sessions to help families connect, have fun, develop skills and grow in confidence!

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

Our wonderful groups and tutors are offering a range of activities including:

• Therapeutic Art Course

• Dance and Movement

• Musical Theatre

• Drama

• Street Dance

• Fun Fitness

• Bitesize Boxing

• Art and Craft Club

• Music and Songwriting

• Therapeutic Art Sessions

PARENT / CARER ACTIVITIES

Our range of Parent / Carer activities have been designed to relax and revitalise you...they include:

• Relax, Release, Restore

• Craft Club

• Fun Fitness

• Art Therapy Course

• Dance / Movement / Chair Based 

• Music Chill-Out!

• Stress Management Taster

• Healthy Mind, Body, You

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

There are a number of Family activities available on the Local Offer Website. Our activity month ends with a family Magic Show by the wonderful magicians and illusionists 'Jay and Joss' and includes a Magic Workshop!

This show has the same amount of sound, lighting, pyrotechnics and audience interaction that you'd expect from a live theatre performance (it's as if you were there!).
